Tommy Manville, Millionaire playboy star of numerous marital adventures, came back from Europe on the Normandie today declaring he had aked Nancy Carroll, movie actress, to become wife No. five.
Tommy is still married to the former Marcelle Edwards, wife No 4 but asserted they had reached a definite understsnding about a divorce.

I saw Mancy in Paris quite a lot, said Manville.
"If I have my way she will be wife No. 5"
Blonde Dolly Goering, Tommy's secretary, was also a passenger on the Normandie.
She sailed with him when he went aboard a month ago and there were reports she would be his next wife.
This, however, he denied today.
