Awaji Nichiken (????, 1243-1338) was a disciple of Nichiren who studied under Nichigen and founded Honjoji (???) in Sanjo, Niigata in 1309. He was granted mandala 52 of the Nichiren Shonin Gohonzon Catalogue.
