Russian Explorer Nicholas Miklouho-Maclay was born Nikolai Nikolayevich Miklukho-Maklai on 17th July, 1846 in Rozhdestvensk, Novgorod Oblast, Russian Empire and passed away on 14th Apr 1888 St Petersburg, Russian Empire aged 41. He is most remembered for conducted numerous researches in New Guinea, Australia, Melanesia and Polynesia; he was the first scientist to settle among and study people who had never seen a white man.
