Nicholas Herbert Stern, Baron Stern of Brentford, CH FRS FBA FAcSS (born 22 April 1946) is a British economist and academic.
He is IG Patel Professor of Economics and Government and Chair of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics (LSE), and 2010 Professor of Collège de France. From 2013–2017, he was President of the British Academy.
