Nikolai Nikolaevich Baskakov (Russian: Никола́й Никола́евич Баска́ков; May 8, 1918, Astrakhan, Soviet Russia – October 14, 1993, Saint Petersburg, Russia) was a Soviet, later Russian, painter, a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists (before 1992 known as the Leningrad branch of Union of Artists of Russian Federation), who lived and worked in Leningrad,
regarded as one of the leading representatives of the Leningrad school of painting, most famous for his genre and portrait painting.
