Norman Stiles is a television writer, born on December 4, 1942, best known for his work on the show Sesame Street. Stiles worked on the show from 1971 until approximately 1995. As part of the Sesame Street writing team, he received eight Daytime Emmy Awards. He also wrote for NBCs 1976–1977 situation comedy The Practice. In 2011 he participated in the Old Jews Telling Jokes program adapted from the book by Eric Spiegelman and shown in the United Kingdom on BBC Four.
