Norris A. Patterson (October 10, 1917 – May 10, 2000) was an American football coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri from 1950 to 1967, compiling a record of 133–33–9. He coached Bill Snyder, who played as a defensive back at William Jewell from 1959 to 1962, later served as head football coach at Kansas State University, and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2015. Patterson was also the athletic director at William Jewell from 1950 to 1968 and United States International University—now known as Alliant International University—in San Diego, California from 1969 to 1975.
