Born María Victoria Henao Vallejo on 27th May, 1961 in Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, she is famous for her relationship with the infamous drug cartel leader Pablo Escobar. She married Escobar in 1976 at the age of 15 and remained with him until he was killed in 1993. She is globally recognized for her marriage to Escobar, surviving his violent era, fleeing Colombia under an assumed identity, and eventually breaking a decades-long silence to detail her life and seek forgiveness. She is also a recognized author and public speaker who has detailed her life during the height of the Medellín Cartel. Her zodiac sign is Gemini.
