American Novelist Patricia Highsmith was born Mary Patricia Plangman on 19th January, 1921 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA and passed away on 4th Feb 1995 Carita Hospital, Locarno, Ticino, Switzerland aged 74. She is most remembered for her psychological crime thrillers which have led to more than two dozen film adaptations over the years, including her series of five novels featuring the character Tom Ripley. Her zodiac sign is Capricorn.
