Petar Atanasov is a Macedonian linguist of Megleno-Romanian origin. His scientific interests include lexicography, Romanian linguistics (Aromanian and Megleno-Romanian dialects) and Romance linguistics. He was a professor in the Faculty of Philology at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje.
