Peter K. Hatemi is an American political scientist and lecturer in Political Science at Pennsylvania State University, where he is also a lecturer in microbiology and biochemistry. He is known for his research on the relationship between genetic factors and political behaviors, as well as the genetic underpinnings of violent behavior. He has also studied the relationship that other factors have to political orientations, such as an individual's personality traits and the perceived pleasantness of another person's odor.
