Peter Schrijver (born 1963 in Delft), is a Dutch linguist and a professor of Celtic languages (Welsh, Cornish, Breton, Irish, Scottish Gaelic, Manx and Continental Celtic) at Utrecht University and a researcher of ancient Indo-European linguistics. He worked previously at Leiden University and the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
