Pieter Muysken (11 April 1950 – 6 April 2021) was a Bolivian-born Dutch linguist and academic at the Radboud University Nijmegen. He was elected a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1995. Muysken won several prizes, including the Spinoza Prize in 1998 and a 2.5 million Euro ERC Advanced Grant in 2008.
