Pirouz Pirouz is an Iranian-American materials scientist. He served as Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Case Western Reserve University from 1990 until his retirement in 2015, after previously serving as associate professor at the same institution. His research has focused on the mechanical and electronic properties of semiconductors and covalent ceramics, high-resolution electron microscopy, and interfaces in advanced materials systems.
