The PO-MO Project is a visual arts/new media collaboration, including architectural projection, video mapping, flash animation, and live video manipulation. The project is the brainchild of Meghan Athavale (VJ PO-MO), based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. An animator for more than 12 years, VJ PO-MO uses her animation skills, her knowledge of particle systems, and her understanding of music theory to create installations that highlight the depths of the music she works with. The name 'PO-MO' is short for Post Modern, referring to the project's focus on using recycled and consumer grade electronics and traditional animation techniques in a new media environment.
