Pralhad Venkatesh Joshi (born 27 November 1962) is an Indian politician who is the current Minister of Coal of India., with additional portofolio Parliamentary Affairs and Mines in the central cabinet under the Prime Minister Modi since from May 2019. He has been a member of Lok Sabha since 2004 and was elected to 17th Lok Sabha in 2019 from the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency. He was Karnataka State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from 2014 to 2016. He served in the panel of chairpersons of Lok sabha (2014-2018)
