The couple were first spotted together by a journalist at a Bar in Pontevedra on October 19th 2024, watching the Real Madrid vs Celta game. The journalist said that they seemed close like a couple and that it was just the 2 of them. A few months Later in February of 2025 the couple were on board the Juan Sebastian Elcano Ship, training onboard for 5 months. During one of the stops in Brazil, a photographer caught the two being affectionate and acting like a couple at a carnival surrounded by their classmates but as soon as he started taking pictures the couple separated. The royal security guards forced the photographer to delete the pictures but he swapped out the memory card first and was able to retrieve some pictures later. The photographer went on a news program in spain and gave his version of events.
