Rafael Rafig oghlu Bayramov (Azerbaijani: Rəfael Rafiq oğlu Bayramov; born 23 February 1982) is an Azerbaijani scientist, neurosurgeon, and neuroradiologist. He is a doctor of philosophy in medical sciences. For the first time in Azerbaijan, he performed the operation of placement of PIPELINE and ACANDIS DERIVO stents, which change the direction of flow in intracranial vessels, and for the first time in Azerbaijan, he performed the operation of endovascular embolization of the malformation of the vein of Galen, a congenital cerebral vascular malformation of a 2-day-old child. He also used ONYX for the embolization of arteriovenous malformations for the first time in Azerbaijan and performed the thromextraction procedure for the first time in Azerbaijan.
