Rajan Sawhney (born May 2, 1971) is a Canadian politician and economist, who currently serves as Minister of Indigenous Relations and MLA for Calgary North-West. She was elected in the 2019 Alberta general election to represent the electoral district of Calgary-North West in the 30th Alberta Legislature as a member of the United Conservative Party. On June 9, 2023, following the provincial election, she was shuffled into the Minister of Advanced Education. On April 30, 2019, she was appointed to be the Minister of Community & Social Services in the Executive Council of Alberta. On July 8, 2021, she was shuffled into the Minister of Transportation.
