Ramananda Bandyopadhyay (born 1936) is an Indian artist. He is regarded as Bengal's most revered artist who continues to work in the style of the Bengal School, deeply rooted in Indian aesthetics. He draws inspiration from folklore, ancient Indian epics, the everyday life of the rural folk and the landscape around him in order to understand man's place.
