Rashid Jahan (25 August 1905 – 29 July 1952) was a Muslim Indian writer and doctor famous for her Urdu literature and trenchant social commentaries. She wrote short stories and plays and is perhaps best remembered for her contribution to the explosive Angarey (1932), a groundbreaking collection of unconventional short stories written in collaboration with Sajjad Zaheer, Ahmed Ali, and Mahmuduz Zafar.
