Rasmus Østergaard Würtz (born 18 September 1983) is a former Danish footballer who played in midfield. He won the 2009 Superliga championship with F.C. Copenhagen. Würtz has played 12 matches for the Denmark national football team from 2005 to 2007, as well as 52 matches for various youth national teams, and he was named 2001 Danish Under-19 Player of the Year. As of 21 May 2018 Würtz is the most capped player in the history of the Danish Superliga with 434 matches played.
