'Model Employee' Aspen Brandy Lea visits Drumoff with Korn drummer Ray Luzier
Los Angeles, CA (January 19, 2013) Aspen Brandy Lea (Widowson) walked the red carpet for Guitar Center's 2012 Drumoff competition where boyfriend Ray Luzier of Korn served as a judge for the evening's competition. The evening is dedicated to drummers and drumming, but when a beloved girlfriend attached to the drumming world is engaged in something notable herself, it's important to tell the tale.
Aspen will be appearing on the new VH-1 show "Model Employee" this coming spring. "Model Employee" features a group of 8 models all competing for a $100,000 contract to be the spokesmodel for Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
Rather than a bunch of modeling gigs a-la "America's Next Top Model," the ladies will all be engaging in the various tasks involved in running the hotel. They will be cleaning rooms, cleaning the shark tank, and sorting through trash to find recyclables - among other things. The winner will be the girl who can keep her composure through all of these various tasks.
Rock people should definitely be rooting for Team Aspen. Luzier couldn't be prouder of her. They stuck to each other like glue throughout the evening's social gathering and are obviously very much in love. In person they are very sweet and genuine people who are caring parents. Apparently their son is already showing signs of becoming a musician just like his daddy. Luzier said, "We want him to be a doctor or a lawyer - unless he's into it 100%."
Aspen did admit one concern to Examiner.com, "I'm nervous about how they're going to portray me. I mean, you never know." It's true. Reality television often takes liberties in the editing room to create characters. Hopefully Aspen will be portrayed as a true beauty inside and out and win the contract!
