Rediet Abebe (Amharic: ረድኤት አበበ; born 1991) is an Ethiopian computer scientist working in algorithms and artificial intelligence. She is a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows, where she is the first female computer scientist and second Junior Fellow with a computer science Ph.D. to be inducted into the Society. Abebe is also an incoming Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
