Reinhard Hans Bütikofer (born 26 January 1953) is a German politician who has been member of the European Parliament since 2009. He is a member of the Alliance 90/The Greens, part of the European Green Party. From 8 December 2002 till 16 November 2008 he was party leader, together with Claudia Roth. In November 2012 Bütikofer was chosen co-spokesperson for the European Green Party.
