René Marcil (May 29, 1917 – September 25, 1993) was a Canadian Québécois artist, painter and fashion illustrator. He spent most of his professional life in New York, Paris, on the French Riviera and in London. Marcil played a central role in the successful post-war launch of Christian Dior's New Look collection in the United States.
