René Moawad (Arabic: رينيه معوض; April 17, 1925 in Zgharta – November 22, 1989 in Beirut) was a Lebanese politician who was the 13th President of Lebanon for 18 days in 1989, from the 5 to 22 November, when he was assassinated by unknown assailants.
