Richard Brian "Rich" Conaty (November 30, 1954 – December 30, 2016) was a New York City disc jockey. He was an important figure in FM broadcasting of jazz and popular music of the 1920s and 1930s. Conaty is best known for the weekly music radio show he hosted, The Big Broadcast, Conaty founded The Big Broadcast when he was a freshman at Fordham University in January 1973, and it ran for over 2200 shows over more than forty years.
