Richard Miskolci is a Brazilian sociologist. His work articulates Social Science's tradition with Queer Theory and Post-Colonial Studies. He is Distinguished Professor of Sociology at UNIFESP (Federal University of São Paulo) (Federal University of São Paulo), Brazil, and also a researcher of CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development). Miskolci is the leader of the Research Center Quereres - Núcleo de Pesquisas em Diferenças, Direitos Humanos e Saúde and also coordinates the area of Human and Social Sciences at the Department of Social Medicine.
