Rob Fleming is a Canadian politician who represents the riding of Victoria-Swan Lake in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. Since July 2017, during the 41st Parliament, he has been the Minister of Education. Fleming is a member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party and was first elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the 2005 election in Victoria-Hillside defeating incumbent British Columbia Liberal Party MLA Sheila Orr. He was re-elected in the renamed constituency of Victoria-Swan Lake in the 2009, 2013 and 2017 elections.
