Robert August Olson (April 14, 1917 – July 18, 1987) was an American soil scientist.
He was a professor of Agronomy at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and was one of the first to prove and warn that use of nitrogen fertilizers could do harm to crops and pollute groundwater.
