Robert Garner (born 1960) is a British political scientist, political theorist, and intellectual historian. He has been based in the politics department at the University of Leicester for most of his career, and has been a professor in the department since 2006. Before working at Leicester, he worked at the University of Exeter and the University of Buckingham, and studied at the University of Manchester and the University of Salford.
