Ronald Jon Roenicke ( REN-i-kee; born August 19, 1956) is an American professional baseball manager, and a former outfielder and coach. He is currently the manager of the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). Roenicke was previously the manager of the Milwaukee Brewers and a coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. During his big league playing career, Roenicke played for the Dodgers, Seattle Mariners, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies, and Cincinnati Reds. He is the younger brother of former MLB outfielder Gary Roenicke.
