Roscoe Conkling Simmons (June 20, 1881 – April 27, 1951) was an American orator, journalist, and political activist. The nephew of Booker T. Washington, he is noted as the first African-American columnist employed by the Chicago Tribune and for his longtime influence on and participation in the United States Republican Party.
