Sakari Saarinen (born 18 July 1978 in Tampere) is a Finnish footballer, who represents NoPS of Finnish fourth division Kolmonen. Saarinen is 178 cm tall and he plays mostly in midfield, but occasionally also as a defender. In the Finnish premier league Saarinen has played 286 matches and scored 19 goals. Besides United, he has also represented another Tampere team Tampereen Pallo-Veikot between 1997 and 1999.
