Samuel Alfred Ross was an Americo-Liberian politician and journalist born October 29, 1870 in Sinoe County, Greenville, Liberia. He was the son of the former Vice President J.J. Ross, an immigrant from the U.S. state of Georgia. Samuel Alfred Ross served as Vice President of Liberia during the administration of President Charles D.B. King from 1920–1924. He also served in the Liberian Senate in 1910, and as the country's Attorney General in 1912.
