Sathyan (born Cheruvilakathu Veetil Manuel Sathyanesan Nadar: 9 November 1912 – 15 June 1971) was an Indian film actor known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Known for his own style and versatility in acting, Satyan is considered as one of the pioneers of realistic acting in Indian film industry. He is respectfully called Sathyan Master.
