He is a charismatic leader who has achieved recognition as an educator, scholar, and author. He is keen to open dialogue on the reality of what Islam is rather than what the image has been in the media. He strongly condemns terror and violence in the name of Islam and Muslims and he is a strong advocate against extremism in all faiths.
