On early October 2006 was published that Jared Leto and Sharon Stone had been seen flirting at the opening of Los Angeles club Area in September that year. An onlooker told Life and Style Weekly magazine: “Sharon was in full femme-fatale mode, she looked positively radiant and Jared definitely noticed. He sauntered over to her and started chatting her up. She seemed flattered by the attention, and the two were laughing and flirting within seconds. She seemed really attracted to Jared.” They then shared a table with the club’s owner Brent Bolthouse and Jared’s brother, Shannon, but Jared and Sharon are said to only have had eyes for each other. The source added: “It kind of looked like they were on a date. The sparks were flying.”
