Shaykh Jawhar Haydar ʽAli (or Jawhar bin Haydar bin ʽAli) was a mystic and Islamic scholar of Shonke, southeast Wollo, Ethiopia. He was usually referred to as the Shayk of Shonke, Shonkeyy and Abbayye (‘my father’).
