Rabbi Shlomo Baksht (born 1960 in Petah Tikva) is the chief rabbi of Odessa and Odessa oblast and the head of Odessa's orthodox Jewish community. He is one of the most respected rabbis in Ukraine. He made a great contribution in dissemination and popularization of traditional Jewish values among the Jews of Odessa.
