He broke the Top 10 in the PSA World Rankings for the first time in November 2014, going on to become the highest ranked male German player of all time. Rosner subsequently reached a world ranking of No. 6 matching Germany's Sabine Schone's career-high world ranking of No. 6 in June 2015. Rosner broke into the world Top 5 in June 2018 and Top 3 in December 2018 making him the highest ever ranked German player.
