Song Young Gil (Korean: 송영길; Hanja: 宋永吉; born 21 March 1963) is a democratic member of the National Assembly in South Korea, chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee of the 21st National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. He is also the chairman of the Democratic Party's Special Committee on Peace and Cooperation in Northeast Asia. He was a chairman of the Presidential Committee on Northern Economic Cooperation. He was the 5th popularly elected Mayor of Incheon. Prior to serving as mayor, he was a democratic movement student activist and a member of the Korean National Assembly for three terms. He is a practicing Catholic.
