Sovan Chatterjee (born 7 July 1964) is an Indian politician belonging to the All India Trinamool Congress. He is the former Mayor of the city of Kolkata, the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal. Chatterjee had been a Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) councillor since 1985. He resigned from the mayor post on 22 November 2018.
