Stan Schmidt (born 6 October 1936) is a South Africa-born martial artist, actor, and fight choreographer. While he is one of the most internationally recognized martial artists in the world, he is perhaps best known in the film industry for his roles as an actor and fight choreographer in the South African martial arts action films Kill or Be Killed (film) and Kill and Kill Again. In the world of martial arts, he founded The College of the Open Hand and helped find the Japan Karate Association in South Africa.
