Stanley Maxted (21 August 1894 – 10 May 1963) was a British Home Child who came to Toronto, Canada in 1906 via Fegan Homes. He lived with Dr. Malcolm Sparrow, dentist, and his family at 1437 Queen Street West. Twice wounded and gassed during the First World War, he survived and became a journalist and actor.
