Stephen Howard Naegle, American watercolor artist, was born in Toquerville, Utah in 1938. He attended first, Southern Utah University and later graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and Master of Fine Arts Degree in 1968 and 1969, respectively, from Utah State University. He taught art, drawing, ceramics and sculpture at Arkansas Polytechnic College, Russellville, Arkansas and Casper College, Casper Wyoming. Mr. Naegle created possibly thousands of watercolors in his short 42 years, as well as a number of major oil paintings.
