Steve Jarding, American political consultant, has worked on statewide and national campaigns for the Democratic Party. He worked as Executive Director of the South Dakota Democratic Party and Communication Director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) as well as for Bob Kerrey's unsuccessful 1992 presidential campaign. Later, he worked on two winning campaigns, directing Mark Warner's Virginia gubernatorial run in 2001 with fellow political operative Dave "Mudcat" Saunders, and that of former Secretary of the Navy Jim Webb for a seat in the US Senate from Virginia in 2006.
