Uvaraja Gopal was an Indian-origin police sergeant in Singapore who committed suicide on 21 July 2023, at the age of 35, allegedly after enduring workplace bullying and racial discrimination. At the time of his death, he was undergoing three criminal and disciplinary investigations. The case garnered widespread media attention in Singapore, with several calls for an independent inquiry into the incident, including by activist Constance Singam, and over 1,000 signatures on an online petition.
