Sunil Tatkare was water resources minister of Maharashtra. He is a leader of Nationalist Congress Party and was elected to Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Shrivardhan (Vidhan Sabha constituency).The Anti-Corruption Bureau has sought the state government's okay to launch an "open inquiry" against him over allegations of land grab and disproportionate assets.
